  • 3/4 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar (for topping)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, baking powder, salt, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, ground ginger, and ground cloves.
  3. In another bowl, mix canned pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Combine wet ingredients with dry ingredients; stir until just mixed (a few lumps are okay).
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar topping.
  6. Bake for 55–65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
