Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 cup Long-Grain White Rice (uncooked)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun Seasoning
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese (shredded)
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese (grated)
  • 2 cups Beef Broth
  • Salt and Pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks until browned. Season with salt and pepper, draining excess fat if necessary.
  2. Push the cooked beef to one side of the skillet and sauté minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Mix in onion powder and Cajun seasoning evenly over the beef.
  4. Stir in uncooked rice and pour in beef broth. Bring to a gentle boil.
  5. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 18-20 minutes or until rice is fully cooked; stir occasionally.
  6. Remove from heat and fold in shredded cheddar and grated parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  7. Taste before serving; adjust seasoning if needed. Serve warm, garnished with extra cheese or fresh herbs.
