Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Grated Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook seasoned chicken for about 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
  3. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add chicken broth and bring to simmer. Stir in egg noodles and cook covered for about 7-8 minutes until al dente.
  5. Meanwhile, melt butter in a separate pan over medium heat and sauté minced garlic until fragrant (1-2 minutes).
  6. Once noodles are cooked, combine them with the garlic butter mixture in the skillet.
  7. Slice the cooked chicken and serve on top of the noodles. Garnish with parsley if desired.
